It's really too bad. I'll even get people who ask "when's the next one coming?" multiple times.

I've told people they should feel free to also host meets if they'd like more frequency to them. Just make sure to enforce the usual rules. But nobody does.

It’s not easy for sure. We did one a few years ago and it went fairly smoothly looking back but felt like a cluster at the time. Ultra really set the tone and there was no rowdiness. I wish we all could have meet for lunch after. Quite a few bailed since the drive was longer then they thought it would be even through the routes were posted ahead of time.

I used to host meets for my university's car club. Unfortunately outside parties and a lack of tools to enforce rules, particularly to respect parking lots and local businesses ruined it.
It was more headache than it was worth, especially in 2020 and 2021 when everyone and their mother decided takeovers and doing burnouts was the new 'thing'. The only meet I enjoyed hosting was one at a local dealership after hours, even then there were several people to attempted to stunt on the street right out of the parking lot.

It's always a fun day. We should do another.

So cool to be able to trailer big stuff. I'd strap down my helicopter for the trip to the LZ.

sweet, so thoughtful of you to gift it to me, just let me know when you're close, and i'll make sure the area behind the garage is clear.
