For Sale in Bay area: AEM CD5L portable dash/logging/analysis setup
Hi everyone! I built this for both our BRZ and to use as a portable data analysis tool for my students. We've sold the BRZ and I don't have time to instruct with 2 little kids so I decided to sell it.
It's a CD5L logging dash on a ram mount, VDM, OBD2 and 12v power cable and a sensor box using an AEM 6ch CAN module internally, with inputs for 2 temp and 2 pressure sensors with DTM connectors. VDM is brand new, a friend at the last track day asked to buy mine. The dash is already configured to use the sensor box, and if you have a BRZ/FRS, it's configured to use the 86 CAN channels, including some not advertised like the gear number and steering angle. The dash is mounted with a Titanium plate that also houses the USB bulkhead for easy access to logs, and a button for setting the start/finish GPS marker for the VDM. Dash in action: Asking $1300, I'm in Livermore, work in Mountain View so those areas easiest to meet but can meet around the Bay. Will ship. Thanks for looking!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

A few more visuals for vanity/ideas. Pic of the setup used in a student's car (used with permission) and a video discussing his data, also data video from a fellow instructor's BRZ. Moving it from car to car just requires a cigarette lighter, velcro the VDM somewhere in the middle, throw the GPS antenna on the roof (magnetic) and if appropriate, connect the OBD2 cable and sensor box.

Time to move this on so it's up on ebay. 1 day left with an opening bid, so it will sell. Hopefully not this cheap but it is what it is.

Possibly. But I figured anyone who may be interested would be in this forum.
