As for the little side project, it's a control system for 2017+ dashboards for first gen vehicles with a swapped dash, I know it's been done before but I wanted to refresh my pcb design experience and add some additional functions, as well as design for a specific location for install. Other potential projects for interior include a modified passenger panel with screen, running some custom software to display various information as well as being able to be used for other things. More on that when I get around to it though! |

   So prototype version of a cluster retrofit controller finally got put together today, need some minor adjustments on the housing, but it'll be a direct push in replacement for the blank panel (for a large portion of GT86 vehicles), and an easy straight path to the cluster connector for adding in the wiring. experimented a lot with the resin materials and qualities to get it to a point where it is nearly indistinguishable from the oem plastics! |
