What's your DRS/nitrous/pass button? So you have both a horn and flashing high beams?

Yeah that's the problem, I had to un-bind the nitrous button.

So you can have either horn or nitrous, not both hahaha.

I never saw the point in the horn, so never bothered. You can always bind it to the left stick, lose the high beams, and bind the nitrous back to the right stick?

Horn is basically just to fuck around with during online races or the meeting place free runs.

I never found a 3 pedal setup with shifter that gratifying to use in games, and I知 a manual snob. I actually have my pedals spaced to exclusively left foot brake.

It feels so wrong though. Especially since I知 using Sims as a way to practice before a real track haha.

Time to sell the G29.

Unless you are running a high end setup it isn't 1:1 as far a feel. Really, you would need to do a custom pedal box to get the spacing right but the throw isn't going to be correct. For practice, just working on your inputs in response to what the "car" is doing is the best sim practice is good for. Oh, and trying to manage weight transfer.

It will be a huge step up in feel. The DD pro works very well at it's price. One of the guys I work with has a Podium DD1, I don't see it worth spending that much just on a wheel base unless sim racing is your life.

I'm a manual snob as well, but I don't have a shifter for the game. And I'm not shelling out money for something high end enough to make it feel right.

Got gold with the Valkyrie with a very comfortable margin. For those still struggling, I use a controller, keep the traction control at 1, do not use brake/throttle in the corners, only use push-to-pass on the straights. Wait until the tires regain grip out of a corner (even with TC on) until you use the boost. I also did mine in automatic, gives me more time to finesse the corner. With traction control off it's basically impossible.

With the genesis, cut the corner as much as possible. It's a big boat and scrubs wide but if you cut the corner close, it'll scrub onto the limit of the opposite rumble strip, and you'll go fast.

Edit: just realized I'm living under a rock and the genesis challenge is long gone lol. Well the Amuse one was annoying too, I don't like tracks of that type, it's like borderline NASCAR, but yet to get gold in that I think
