Tried my own paint correction, fixed some scratches but did not get all. It was my first time detailing, but I think I would not recommend CG for polishing.
Still think it was worth the hours and back pain. |

Last Friday,I finally got my car back from the body shop after 5 months.
This past January,I got t-boned by a guy rushing through the intersection. he blew through the light while turning left.Won't get into that right now,but needless to say,it was all his fault. Long story short,he clobbered the shit out of my driver's side rear quarter panel, rear bumper, and part of the door. I have to say, they did a pretty good job. And they better have, after five months! |

Slapped on the grimspeed brake brace.
Noticeable improvement, but nothing crazy drastic. If you got cash to burn, not bad mod. Easy to do too, just be careful not to drop the bolt holding the fuel rail .. like I did (I fished it back out with a magnet).

Hmm, I have A/C in cars "because happy wife...."
Last car I drove without A/C was my '85 MR2. The A/C went out and was going to more to repair than the car at the time was worth. I DD it in South Florida for two years, no A/C on a 120 mile round trip commute. I had the 2-60 AC going, 2 windows down 60MPH. I thought it was fine, but none of my first 4 cars had AC either.

A/C wasn't even an automotive thing to aspire to.

Thank you! No A/C because I wanted one less thing in front of my radiator besides the intercooler. It doesn't bother me at all, but my wife isn't so adaptable. I could put the stuff back in and re-charge it if I needed, but that's too much effort for something I don't really care about
