i highly doubt that the airflow would be like that as the gap between the bumper and hood is much further forward than in that pic.

I see this car less attractive compare to the fat aggressive concept 2( LED in the front and vents are the only negative points.) I love the side profile tho, it looks something like Mazda's design, which I have always like (not the smiley face).

Having to repaint the car because of so many rock chips would be an added cost and most likely hurt the resale value. Better to protect your investment with some 3M. If I do end up purchasing it, the first place its going is to my detailer's for a new car prep with wrap in 3M and some dark tint.

That's all he told me so far...
I wonder how much was Axis and how much was Toyota. As long as it retains majorify of the body lines, it should be a win.

That's what I was thinking too. The front grill and the hood difuser are way too close to channel. I hope I'm wrong because once I saw the Tacoma hood scoop and it being completely closed off, that was a huge let down.

The only way you'll see a Lexus badge on this is if the chasis and be reworked for the new IS next year, and then is approved by Toyoda, which means it looks better than being based off the GS.

Basically toyota will make 2 maybe 3 IS designs
1 - Based off FT-86/FR-S
2- Based off the new GS
3 - independent IS design using the new Lexus styling

Edit: Kudos to giccin for noticing i forgot a word XD

I am slightly worried that this is an "Over the top" model... I hope the only thing that makes it over the top is the wheels/tires/breaks and the diffuser.. I'd be sad if any of the body work was changed.. it has an amazingly styled body right now...

The third brake light sat on top of the hatch, at least on GT-S, which was the last gen of the car.

I can see them making it an "impression" there on that piece, but doubt to see it light up. Hopefully, either way, it can be removed or covered easily.
