Exclamation VENDOR REVIEWS----HOW?

Since all the vendors and vending threads are now locked out for some reason (because they're not a sponsor--what's that supposed to mean?) people who want to buy or who have bought can't post up anything. Makes no sense to me. Seems like a LOSE-LOSE situation in my opinion. Let's get things opened back up for everyone's benefit.

The new vendor program was just put in place. As the vendors sign up, they can open the threads back up. Hopefully this explains the situation, but if you have any other questions PM Hachiroku.

Thanks.

Many vendors are waiting to have their sponsorships activated (which our system takes care of automatically). Once that happens, they can open their threads again. Should happen by tomorrow.

Went to an event today at one of the vendors who has advertised/posted on here and they we unaware of needing to sign up as a sponsor, so how you contacted vendors who have posted on here may not be getting your notifications of what they need to do to unlock their posts.......unless you didn't send out individual e-mails and only posted in the forums, which would not have been the way I'd have handled it.......just sayin.

So, can you please explain why some vendors posts are unlocked in lets say the engine, exhaust sections, but not in the wheels and tires sections? If a vendor has signed up as a sponsor, doesn't that unlock ALL their posts in every section? Come on, this is getting old and people on here come here for information on what's available, what's being built and a whole lotta posts are STILL locked.

Anyway small local vendors like Detail folks can be omitted from having to sponsor? It makes sense for the global folks that ship their goods but the detail guys can't really ship their services and their customer pool is very limited.

Pretty sure it's the vendor that unlocks the threads....

Good grief, now that makes no sense. If it was locked by the site owner, why would the vendor now have to unlock it? Glad I don't run a business this way..............I'd have no customers.....and no business.

Once the vendor has their sponsorship activated then they (the vendor) has the power to lock/unlock their own threads.
