^That's about right. I ran my SS1s a little higher than -20 and it was OKAY but not ideal (not enough droop travel).

As for ride quality, yes a smidge firmer than SS1 but still pretty good overall especially on small to medium bumps. If ride quality is a bigger concern, get SS1s, but SS2s are still daily driveable for most people.

Since we started the T2s way back for GD Impreza platform, we always wanted the option of using OEM or Group N rubber top mounts. Keeping top mounts optional is important to us for that product. We've thought about having the KW type tophat as an option but right now it's just not possible. Perhaps someday in the future.

We wanted the same "easy button" type of coilover as our SS1, but for someone that finds themselves at the track or autocrossing more often. No complicated set up, no annoying day to day compromises, and all the usual RCE after-sale support.

You can think of these as sort of a simplified RCE Tarmac 2 for those who don't necessarily need 2 way damping adjustability, but with the benefit of camber plates and rear top mounts included. Our T2s are still a great solution for those that do want 2 way damping adjustability or the option to run OEM style mounts.

How would you compare the SS2 and the T2 in terms of daily driving? 2 ways are more difficult to set up but I feel like it can help when adjusting between road and track.

The T2s have a little more flexibility with the 2 way adjustability which can help with adjusting more for the street, but they're still a little more aggressive in terms of the range on compression damping. The difference isn't too large though.

Totally worth the price for the rear bump travel!

Say I wanted to get this but with the more mild springs of the SS1...would that be possible?

Or perhaps the SS1 with an upcharge for the rear mounts?

I know these are listed for the 2022+ technically, but can you confirm exact fitment for the 2013-2027 first gens?

Just FYI, both SS1 and SS2 are back in stock. We've been really happy with the feedback on the SS2s...they add just a little bit of edge to SS1s and that extra performance potential works nicely with some of the stickier tires out there.

Won my time trial class with COMSCC last year on SS2. Sweeet... I did run 9k rear springs due to paranoia about understeer I had with the gen-1 BRZ, but honestly I think that was more to do with running that car on way too soft springs (4.5kF/5.4kR, or something like that)
