Retirement isn't as easy as one might think. After a lifetime of "go go go" it can be tough to change gears.

Changed the oil in the Lotus yesterday, and got a sample in the mail to Blackstone. Installed a Fumoto valve. My first. I don't know, makes me feel uneasy. Never once had a problem with a drain plug. Anyway, can't wait to see the report. 4 years 10 months and 5700 miles on this oil. I need to find places to drive the cars more!

Next, the twin. My last oil report said I could go 9k. I think I'm at about 7k miles on this oil. I guess the Torco SR-5R is worth the cost, especially if you change your oil every 5 years.

Both cars are at about 27k miles.

New!? They have always been there for me. They get really interesting after my wife shops for bras and such.

That's how my dad stays busy. He is part of American Legion, Oddfellows, and is on his second term as a city councilor. He also volunteers for a lot of planning committees. He's busier now then when he worked.

My wife does a lot of volunteer work, mostly for military, both active and vets. She is President of the local Blue Star Moms chapter. She is always doing something.

Mrs.Ultra is a woman I would call a "go getter". Awesome gal. Give her a hug for me. She will find that "place", and people in that place will be blessed.

I loved my morning conversations with Mrs.Ultra, while someone was sleeping till 11.

I don't mind the static bar at the top of the page, it's there but not in the way. I don't normally see one at the bottom of the page.

What does annoy me is the new bar that drops down from the top of the page and covers things up until you dismiss it.

Yeah this one is new. I'm not talking about the one on the bottom that's always been there. This one actually pops up and over things in it's own little overlay, and then SLOWWWWLY dismisses itself if you click the down arrow. But you can see the little "tab" still. It's obnoxious.

At least it doesn't show up on actual threads usually, just the index pages and subsections.

nope, don't see it.

my pc has abp and ublock origin turned off for the site, but i'm still running everything through pihole, which catches the majority of the annoying stuff. i just wish i could get my hands on another reasonably-priced raspberry pi to build a backup...

all i see is a banner in the top for delicious tuning..
