We painted a truck last night at work. When ever we do off hour projects like this we always jokingly refer to it as the “arts and crafts department.” Came out pretty good. We started at 4:30-5pm and got done at about 12:30am. He sent me pictures this morning after getting it home. Once the clear hardens enough he is going to pin stripe and foil to break up the boundary between the colors.

After 5 years of searching, finally got an owners manual. I've seen them on EBay for like $850, but no. A guy on the Lotus board sold me one for $100, and he threw in an oil filter, and a service manual. That thing is like 4 inches thick! Major score!

It’s very similar to the factory colors but the dark blue has metallic in it. It was his dad’s, who passed away last year, so he wants to make it look new again inside and out. I’ve just been tagging along on his projects so I can learn some stuff.
