I solved the rebus. EU BCM is the same of JDM one, different from US type. So, this is just for US and Canadian models.

Yeah I tried that today as well in my Final Edition and it doesn't seem to work at all. Also user manual doesn't even mention alarm literally anywhere and section about alarm is completely removed. So it seems that EU versions don't have alarm functionality at all... Meh.

I forgot to post, I made some more investigation. The EU version is different from the JDM one. But replacing it allowed me to activate the alarm function.

All this time later, I finally figured out that this is why someone was able to steal the radio from my car and the alarm never went off.

Previous owner must have disabled the alarm for some reason. Genuinely, is there any good reason to do this?

I could see it being a positive if someone had HEAVILY modified the car for like track-only use but this car was bone stock when I bought it so.. why?
