I really disliked that race. Everybody just sending it everywhere, it was all about survival. I got taken out so many times and on the GR4 race at Spa.

I didn't even get a chance to attempt that daily race.

Someone tried to ram me going into turn 2 at LS, I moved slightly out of the way and off they went into the kitty litter. I knew it was intentional since the same guy was blocking and pushing me from passing him on the previous lap. He was so preoccupied with doing that that he had a terrible line going into the corkscrew and went off. Easy pass for me.

I’d basically brake early into T2, and the last turn and just let the senders run themselves off track and cut back under them. The corkscrew was the same. I’d just let them take the inside and watch them go flying off track.

Spa was the similar. Going into La Source or Les Combes or the finial chicane let them do the self send.

I wish they would keep doing at least one longer race on the daily races. Last weeks 15 lap at Road Atlanta in Gr3 was a lot of fun. Even if I found myself in a bit of trouble I could always rebound and was never under pressure to get by an overly aggressive driver like a 5 lap race.

Couldn't get a gold time in the TT, I am .001 off and gave up.

I think I would have rather had bronze then get so close but still be so far I was starting to get mad so I gave up. I hate driving the Radical because of the stupid way you need to shift the thing to get speed out of it because.....reasons. Basically you are better off double upshifting from 3-5 or 4-6 on longer straights. It's a so dumb.

Take this with a grain of salt as I haven't done a lot of laps at Nords in GT7, I have done a shitload in AC but it's a bit different physics wise. Basically all I did in AC was hotlap Nords. I'll try to jump in a set a lap here tonight but this is what I can see in the video.

:20 Your line in here is too narrow. Need to be out towards the right edge of the track. This allows you to straightline both apexs, carry more speed in and trail brake deeper.

:27-:45 USE MORE CURB. You can really abuse them in this section to open up the corners.

Flugplatz Haven't tried this myself in the twin but I would shift down to 4th here based on your video.

1:25 The left over the hump into Aremberg, need to take a tighter line here. You can practically run your inside tires over the grass. You really want to stay tight to the curb most the way around as this sets you up for the braking zone. It looks like you turned in a bit early and understeered wide.

1:54 Coming up out of Foxhole you need to stay to the right edge of the track. This opens up that left a lot more, you can really carry a lot of speed into the section when you get it right.

1:56 You turned in way too late here. You need to take a good amount of curb. You basically need to imagine where the apex of the following right is and turn the car in and point it there even though you can't see it. This sets you up to brake for the following right as soon as the car is straight and settled. Since you are wide here this also makes the following right tighter.

2:29 Turned in too early here, this pushed you wide. When you have a tight left/right or right/left like this, set yourself to maximize the exit of the second corner. So it's usually best to give up a little on entry to give you a better exit. You should basically be nearly pointed at the second apex when coming off the first. Slow in/fast out. There are quite a few of these on Nords.

2:48 Get to the far right of the track to open up the left hander.

2:55 Miss-Hit-Miss is always kind of messy. I always find it better to run a little wide of the first part and try to setup to maximize your exit. So give up a little on entry.

3:19 Get to the right edge of the track. I have noticed this a lot in your video. Nords is narrow and you need to maximize the track width and open up the corners more. Just stay off the taller curbs so they don't jack you up under braking. Turned in too early here.

3:46 Turned in too early here. You ran the shown line here but in a low power car you need to really try to maximize the exit for this long uphill. You should be able to run all the way out on the curb on the left on exit so you are not scrubbing so much.

4:28 Again, not using all of the track. You can run practically till you are touching the barrier here, and you can really carry the speed through this left if you get it right. They call this "Bravery Corner" for a reason.

4:49 Looks like you tried to carry too much into this corner and ran wide.

5:23 Not maximizing track width. This tightens the corner.

5:30 Not maximizing track width. This tightens the corner.

5:44 Ran in with too much speed and went wide, need to abuse this curb to open up the following right hander. Abuse the inside curb on the right and the exit on the left. These curbs are pretty gentle here.

5:57 Not maximizing track width. This tightens the corner.

6:21 This is one of those left/right combos I mentioned earlier. Give up a little on entry to give you a better exit. You ran wide here. Also, abuse the curb on the right hander, it's rough but it is okay to take.

7:01 Not maximizing track width. This tightens the corner.

7:29 Not maximizing track width. This is a really important one as you are running onto the back straight. You really really want a good exit. This is such a long straight that being slow a couple MPH off the exit can cost you several tenths. You also pinched the exit a bit. Just let the car track out wide, but stay on the gray part.

7:57 Driving straight like a pro

8:34 Let the car track out wide, no need to pinch the exit here.

So you're supposed to skip gears in that car?

Didn't watch the whole lap, but from the parts I did watch, I think you're following the suggested braking zones too much, which is also causing you to brake too early, which then makes you want to accelerate too early. That makes it you understeer in a lot of those corners.

And over crests, you gotta brake right before so that you don't wash out if they're right before a corner. It's pretty tricky.

My suggestion is to get rid of the braking zone guidance since they seem to tell you to brake way too early and in some areas, brake when it isn't needed, but keep the flashing "brake" aid. It'll help you get a better idea of where and when to brake.

Accelerate out of a corner later than what you're doing now as well, or if you must, apply very light throttle.

Definitely have to turn off the racing line and braking lane as now I’m getting used to paying attention to the braking signs. Love all the feedback. Next step is to turn off ABS.
