Honestly, solution is pretty simple… but how reality it is, is a different story.

My solution is, all the automotive brands are required to used same self driving system (open system) with self-driving only road. This will factor out 3billion different self driving system (kinda like seat belt concept). It’ll allow other brand car to communicate w each other to get visual AND sensor (radar or other sensors) to communicate their surrounding self-driving cars. Secondly, self-driving only road will factor out human drivers. The road setup a sensor thingy every 20~40 yards to detect how busy it is & it’ll allow self-driving car to 2-way communicate to give heads up to the self-driving car on weather, road conditions, traffic &/or wrecks to avoid.

Sadly this won’t happen due to all the automotive brands are greedy & they wanna make one & their only idea self-driving. Plus ppl go ape-shit if we made self-driving only road & they’ll go on to make it worse lol

this is basically what 50% of journalism entails right now, no real investigative effort just repeat whatever the police PR person says or puts into a press release.

pretty sure buzzfeed is already using ai for their stupid fucking listicle articles and that's the perfect use case because any decent journalist wouldnt put their name on a listicle in the first place.

AI can objectively look or read, but cannot subjectively look or read. I guess this can be said the same for human, especially in the forum or text form. Discussion is made 93% non-verbal 7% verbal. Within 93% intonation & body language are the majority of the factor. This is why miscommunication between human happen online than face-to-face. Cuz they misread or misinterpreted the sentence (depends on person’s mood).

I’m not really worry about AI selling product with perfect CGI pics of something fake. Unless it’s simple shift knob or other small parts, majority of buyer PM the seller w complicated, random question even human have hard time answering or some are pure WTF questions. If AI become that quick-wits & unique enough to answer convo like that, then prob be used for seniors &/or other solo living ppl first… but of course, spammer/hacker will use for their greed before that.
These ChatGP answers came as fast as a Google search. Pretty impressive. It'll be interesting where things are in a few years.

Are you sure I'm not a bot? I've been accused of it.

Obviously the parameters of the AI language engine is intentionally soft and respectful. If its programming allowed it to sound less robotic then it could, but even then it does a pretty good job. I'm sure it could simulate anger, jealousy, spite, overreactions, etc. in a much more flawed, exaggerated, emotional, senseless/human way. Emotional language responses are predictable too. ChatGP is just toned down and handicapped intentionally.

Pretty impressive? ChatGP didn’t answer the beauty at all, just objectively answering. Again just analyzing data. AI can’t even decide Angelina was more pretty than Brad lol

As for the sports car, same thing. Objectively answering. As a human, can contradict the list.
- Performance. AI stated fast AND simple. Meaning both. Well if that’s the case, 86/BRZ is out. Cuz it’s not fast, BUT it’s nimble. Challenger is out cuz it’s fast, but not nimble.
- Style. Some sports cars does not break neck. Example is Miata. Only time I break neck for Miata is working on em lol
- Sound. That takes out all the EV sports cars.
- Brand. I’ll give this one. But that’s more of reputation than definition of “sports car”.

As for bots, yeah I get AI saying cuz I do look for those things… but some scammers & spammers posts/PM are written by human, so it’s not easy as finding a scammers/spammers.

In the end, at current state of AI is missing the critical thinking for extra factor thinking like human. Is that mean, AI can’t be a moderator? Nah, prob in a decade or so, it might be possible.

We have a guy at work that is obsessed with ChatGP. He can not get it through his head that it is NOT AI but just a really good program that gather data and tells you the findings. It is not "thinking" up anything.

is there really a difference though?

chatgp's biggest advantage is that it has a gigantic 'permanent' long term memory. if we had as large of a memory, we wouldn't need our own intelligence as much either!
