Yeah, I wanted to stick with the group 3 cars if possible. I'm sure I could have used the 787B and it would have been super easy. Lol. 1% of gas didn't last long in the Gr3 cars. Haha Well dang, I hope no one goes faster then as I'd like to keep the gold reward. |

I just don't want to have to set another lap in that van if someone goes faster.

the time trial was pretty easy. I think I'm in like top 2.5%? Only had to try for 20ish minutes to get that. The previous week's trial I only managed just under 5%. I find when it's a performance balanced time trial, I do well (i.e. the playing field is level). When it's a car you gotta upgrade and tune yourself, I don't do well.

for me it was the camera. I usually use the chase camera but it's so big that it obscures the corners. So I had to use the "hood" camera, but then in the sections where your ghost gets ahead, it also obscures the entire screen lol. I found you had to be reeeeeaaaallly smooth with it. No sudden steering, brake, or power inputs

Really? I find the Gr3's the most based in reality. Most of the Gr3's are current and past GT3, GT, GTD, GTE cars. I really enjoy driving them. There are quite a few fakes, but they are done well enough in the spirit of GT3's that I still enjoy them. The GR3 Beetle was a WTF for me, but it's a fun car to yeet around.

I like the Gr4 cars since they seem to be the most production like car, just modded. If it's a Gr3 race, I go back to the nostalgic roots and use the GT500 cars. Haha

Why'd they have to mess with the physics engine tho? Shit was fine the way it was. Stop adjusting shit just for the sake of adjusting it because you have nothing else to do.
Also if they really want to do an update that we give a shit about, give everyone a couple million credits just for the hell of it.

I noticed that the dampening actually does something now. For example, the Ring is pretty bumpy, and the kerbs are gnarly. Before, never had any issues with either using the R34 GT500. After the update, and keeping my suspension the way it was, the kerbs felt like ice and would cause me to spin out. Lowered both dampening adjustments a little, and was a lot better. Now I'll have to keep dampening in mind depending on the track. |

I expected to instantly cannonball to my death in the 959 and was ticking off lap after lap having a blast. 997 GT3 was still a little bit of a handful but much more fun. I’m not sure how much was physics change or FFB change. I’m kind of excited to try out some other cars now. |
