Last night I made chicken tinga, which I guess is supposed to be like a braised shredded chicken for tacos. But mine ended up being more of a soup lol. Pretty tasty and filling. Was going to make rice with it but opted just for this on its own without carbs.
   And a few days ago the grocery store butcher had a deal on pre marinated sirloin beef tips. 4.99/lb. Then the lady at the registrar gave me a $5 off coupon so I basically got that meat for free. Marinade was some kind of bourbon with black pepper and stuff. I over cooked them just a little on one side but they weren't burn, just a bit crustier and more done.

Mom and I made the drive to Redwood City to visit one of the two remaining places of deliciousness. They even had a wood carved statue of @Tcoat.
