years ago, i did some work for a husband/wife bakery. high end place. at the end of the job, they gave us some croissants like that as a thankyou. it was so filling, we almost had to be rolled back to the truck afterwards!

This week I have to participate in a "tactical swim course" and while I'm not entirely sure what else is to come, I did learn today I'm both a really good swimmer and a really shit one at the same time lol. I can be efficient yet apparently when it comes to manipulating myself in the water, I'm a complete dumbass.

I usually don't go on about being a great swimmer or having some lavish experience or schooling. I just had to teach myself to swim, grew up in the country swimming in rivers, and did a lot in high school. But that equates to nothing in my career where egos require you do have a **** size competition. So I usually just play dumb and say I'm an OK swimmer, and when they say good job, I say, thanks. And if they try to critique me, I ask specifically what needs fixing. If they don't get a valid reason, I know they are just trying to act smart. I just like to shark people sometimes.... However, today I did learn a few new tricks and realized I had places to fix lol.

I am sure if I worked at it I could do a lot better, I just don't care enough lol. I can swim, I am just either really slow trying to pace myself or I get tired too quick.
