Same happened to me. My dad let me do things on small spaces or where he can't reach air ducts and such where you need to crawl. It paid off eventually because I know how to do stuffs around the house and cars but I become more lazy through the years...

Reminiscing about childhood memories on the farm/ranch is enjoyable.

My doctor says I have high cholesterol and need to stop eating unhealthy foods.

And for my coughing/breathing issues, he said the chest x-ray looked fine but I should go to a pulmonary specialist and get a CT scan... grr.

Sounds like your doctor needs a smack in the face.

This is why I was always the one to climb into the bailer to unclog it when it got jammed and the flywheel bolt would break. I am getting sweaty and itchy thinking about it.

I dunno. I am kind of a fatty. 230lb ish, 5'8".

I don't go out of my way to eat super unhealthy food but I eat out fairly often and do enjoy sugary drinks maybe a few times a week.

Ahhh. Yeah some diet and activity may be a good idea.

I just don't like when people say stop eating unhealthy food. If it's something you like treating yourself every now and then is fine. I have friends that always get into hardcore diets but they can't maintain it so they go back to pre diet shape not long after.

Welcome to the world of kids in the 19-teens textile factories. With the difference that bailer was probably turned off.

I think the main thing I need is to "learn" to eat healthy food. I've never enjoyed vegetables, so I don't go out of my way to eat it unless it's cooked well with whatever protein I'm eating.

As far as activity I think I'm doing "ok" there. According to my Apple Watch as long as it's not a rainy day I average walking 3-5 miles a day because of Haru. Give or take depending on weather. I mentioned that last week to the doctor and he was surprised lol.

It's just eating and portion control lol. I love second and some times third helpings.

Maybe try cooking vegetables differently. I know for me personally texture makes a huge difference on veggies. I like to roast them in the oven or grill them. If they are mushy I don't care for them.

Portion control was always a big issue for me, took me years to break the habit of eating too much.

i'm still figuring out the portion control. problem is 'serving size' means nothing, but then most meals are designed to feed at least 2 people...

When I cook at home I almost always make a big batch. And I usually try to feel better about it by framing it like "well even if I have the second/third serving I'll still have enough for 2-3 meals this week", which isn't the best lol

My doc told me that as well. Currently I’m 5’9”~8” w 185~205lbs. My reply was “I wanna be fat & live short than skinny & live long.” Food is my life & joy! As long as I can get in & out of sports car without breaking anything, I’m good.

Yeah I get the junk food can be bad… but why I wanna be miserable & be heathy eating healthy food. I’ll be what want to eat, both tasty unhealthy & heathy food.
