I'm waiting on my chest X-ray results that my new doctor had me do this week. I've had a pretty persistent cough since early 2020... sometimes I wonder if it's some upper respiratory thing that's lingered. In the meantime he put me on a prescription antihistamine in case it's just an allergy but I don't think that's it. And I'm still having the cough since starting that pill almost a week ago.

Was going to go out in the 50° garage today and start where I left off last year at getting my tools and garage ready to do all the car projects I couldn't do last year because of heath problems and what happens? Wake up in the middle of the night in pain, and can't walk. I can't seem to catch a health break. Back to the doctor.

I had a picture on my old phone of one of my coworkers dressed as Doc Brown, in another coworker's Delorean, on October 21, 2015. I think we got the time down to the minute too.

Back to the Future day was fun.

I had the same thing for years. Then I got a new car for commuting and it went away.

Ouch. Hope it's nothing serious.

Sounds like when my dad threw out his back about 15 years ago. He couldn't even get out of bed, and when he tried he basically couldn't even hold himself up, he fell to the floor. Ended up being some weird back strain.

So, what you're saying is my car could have grown mold from being exposed to rain and now I've got cordyceps in my lungs??

Unfortunately it is. I've been working on it with my doc for over a year now. Even he is a bit puzzled.

On the cold front, I had a bad cold in Nov. that never 100% went away. Still congested and coughing.

I had "that cough" for about 8 months between 2003 and 2004. it was one of those bone shaking coughs where you are pretty sure you may have broken something.

I can tell you how I got rid of it, but I don't recommend it.

I was out riding Quads with some buddies (I had a Polaris Scrambler 500). We were on a flat trail and I opened it up, went around a blind corner at speed and ran into a 20" tree trunk that had fallen across the trail. I went over the bars, landed on and cracked my collar bone (although I didn't know it at the time).

About 5 minutes later, my friend the persistent cough decided it was his turn. I coughed once, and it hurt so bad that apparently my body said "oh hell no" and I literally did not cough again.

I still tear up, just thinking about how much it hurt.

This new doctor thinks I have asthma that gets irritated every time I get sick and it's what is causing this so she game me an albuterol inhaler incase I have a hard time breathing which literally has never happened to me. I have no idea when I am supposed to use this thing then

No idea what it was since I don't care but saw a newer looking Lambo or Ferrari or something like that trying to drive in the snow a couple of weeks ago. He was not having a good time!
Looked like this one.
