We built a forged internals block, and the mod was suggested as my HP goal was 450 to 550 HP. Been tracking it for about 80,000 , (after tracking a stock motor for 100,00 km.) No problems.

I've used the similar fix over 25,000km with RPM limit at 8050. Been there many times.
