Also, after ^^^this^^^ consider letting it sit for a few minutes to charge. You can tell if it's sucking up charge if the alternator on the jumper car makes the engine labor as soon as you hook up the cables.

Second earliest was when I got yelled at by a park ranger for playing in a tree on the Vanderbilt mansion lawn.
So, you didn't get permission to play in your neighbor's tree?

Lol well, I think my mom said it was ok if we didn't bother anyone. My brother and I apparently bothered someone.

Well you did say truck not train.
I also may have misunderstood that and thought is was a Truck/Semi shipment(IE by truck) not a ship a truck shipment.

SHOW of Hands. Who remembers party lines?

Actually remembers - not heard about them from your grandma.

Now, please remind me again. Who are you?
My grandmother had a party line her whole life right up to 1998 when she moved out of her house. It was probably one of the last ones still in use in Canada.

Speaking for myself, you’ll always be welcome. Hopefully, you can latch onto another twin sooner than later.

My earliest vivid memory is of my Dad’s Studebaker convertible. All of those old cars had little triangular vent windows at the front of the door. The glass would pivot out so you could direct air into the car. My clearest recollection is falling out of that car in a corner once.

In his younger days dad could occasionally hoon the car bit. Once (no idea where he was going, but I still remember the intersection (11th street at Yale) he whipped it into a left turn, the passenger door flew open and I rolled out. I managed to grab the frame upright for the vent window and hung on til he stopped. His version of the story had me laughing the entire time and wanting to do it again. I just remember clinging to that window frame.

Hey that happened to me twice! First time my brother pushed me out of a golf cart my cousin was driving, doing a "fast" left on gravel. Second time I noticed something was caught in the door so I opened it at a stop sign, just in time for my dad to floor it to make a left into traffic.

If it was the last one, who did she talk to?

I only ever heard of them.

She talked to whoever she called. Although she still had the party line by the last 3 or 4 years there was nobody else on it. I think she was actually disappointed she couldn't listen in anymore.

Positive terminal was pretty badly corroded. Brushed the shit out of it and car started up. But the terminal does need to be replaced.

my ranger was the same way. they just used some cheap molded sheet metal and if it rots out at all, it affects the integrity of the entire terminal.

how quick do you need it, and how many wires connect?

i was digging through my old audio gear and realized a while back i've got a couple i'm never going to use, but they're valuable somewhere enough to not throw away. just want to make sure they would work before sending them out.
