yeah, technically, any tune tends to alter the emissions system unless it's a been certified, most aren't.

exhaust/headers, if they've got all the oem cat's installed, there'd be no difference to oem.

live and learn, but any used vehicle sale, i always make the other party sign an 'as-is, where-is' document. if i'm selling, i want nothing more to do with the vehicle, and do everything i can to make it clear that once the title is signed over, i no longer exist, and any problem of the vehicle is now their problem.

It is currently cheaper for me to ship a 40' container across the ocean, then to send a 53' truck shipment from OR to southern California

Fuel costs and all those people that screamed "the poor truck drivers don't earn enough and should be paid way more" have boosted transport costs to a level that can break some places. It is going to get worse and worse as the companies boost wages to find drivers.

I just shot one of my freight reps an email on this. I think it is going to implode soon. I'm just bypassing it when I can by bringing in enough that my vendor gives me free freight, wonder how long that will last.

The Jones Act stipulates that shipping between any two US seaports must travel on US made ships.
Guess who quit making ships? Foot, bullet intersection.

Just got back from radiology again.

This radiologist said apparently the one from last week did a more "general" imaging and didn't focus too thoroughly on the actual spot I was having discomfort in.

Afterward, she told me she didn't personally notice anything off, but the doctor himself has to give the all-clear.

So, here's hoping...

Speaking of increasing prices:

Bill of sale for freshly painted and new top car September 22, 1975

Bill to remove and replace cracked block (frozen) base 327 with low miles performance 327. Engine not on bill but cost $50 from auto wreckers October 1978

Bill to replaced locked up diff probably due to increased HP and torque from new engine November 1978

I'm considering it now. I just asked a simple question, not even complaining about the rate, and have gotten no less than 4 emails as a result That will teach me to be curious.
