You still have a full time job and a need to drive daily. I do not.

As I've said before, when I was working I bought an Inazuma (Series Yellow) to be my summer fun car. I was going to drive it while I had the body and undercarriage of my 2006 STi rejuvenated. However, the company I worked for kicked me out the door without cause and without notice. I had to give up the Inazuma. I also sold my 2006 STi when it became clear nobody would hire an old fart like me.

So now I have no place I need to be. If something does come up, (like a doctors appointment) and the weather is bad I have the wife's 2016 STi to use. My tS gets to live like the queen she is. (Well, except for when bad things happen like the wife getting rear ended and being without her Crosstrek going on three weeks now.)

Going on 5 years with my 2017 as of march. Will tick over 125,000km by then.

I don't joyride as much as I used too. The first 10k km was put on in less than 3 months.

As of end of November mine was at just over 86k Km(or 53k Miles) Got it the end of April 2019, and it’s stored / and off the road for close to 4 months each year.
Got to just love doing those nowhere road trips in the summer. Bagel runs for my old friend out east with unplanned detours just for fun turn out to be the best.

Tread derailed?
I discovered that the slickest mud roads are lost in south Manitoba straddling the line with North Dakota. Some of the ditches got a bit too close,
almost crashed due to consecutive days of heavy rain and the surprised Pickup guys running fast in the center over the few hills in existence.

Surveying the caked on muck:
