Brake Pad Manufacturer (F/R): Carbotech
Caliper (F/R): OEM F/R

Rotor Size (F/R - IE OEM or specify): OEM F/R
Compound (F/R): XP10 F/R
Tires: Falken RT660 245/40r17

Feedback:
For reference, car is a 2013 BRZ with stock header/tune/braking system, only upgrades are wheels/tires and brake pads/fluid.

Pads are a touch light when cold but really not bad and can hold up to 20 minute lapping sessions at a casual lapping pace when ambient temperatures are lower than 20c/68f, but they'll notably fall off within a few laps when ambient temperatures are 26c/79f.

Front pads are wearing like butter, I went through 1.5 sets of front pads over 7 track days, 1 TA, and 2 autocross events. Rears are much more reasonable at a little over half over the same period of time.

Brake ducts would probably help tons but I'm due to refresh calipers and rotors anyways so it's a good opportunity to move into BBK.

Scores:
Dusting (1=high-10=low): 6 but easy to clean
Cold bite (1=low-10=high): 6
Hot bite (1=low-10=high): 7 until overheated then 4
Modulation (1=low-10=high): 7
Noise (1=extremely loud-10=quiet): 7
Pad Lifespan (1=short-10=long): (estimate/actual) 3
Does the brake dust with this combination damage the wheels/paint if not cleaned immediately? (Y/N) N
Brake ducts: (Y/N) N

Looking for some feedback from folks on what your experience/preference has been with running squared vs staggered brake compounds? Has anyone tried both and care to share their thoughts?

For context, I have a new-to-me dedicated track car that sees no street use besides being driven to/from the track. Threw on AP 9660 front / AP 9451 rear BBKs — currently running Endless ME20 squared and am considering moving to a staggered/lower friction setup that will give some additional pedal modulation and less rear lock-up. Thinking perhaps Endless ME22 front paired with S55G or T47G in the rear; I do want to stay within the Endless compound family, as the price is very right AND my rotors are worn-in to their specific pad shape, which may deviate by ~1mm or so in some area from other brands pad shapes for the same AP calipers.

When I switched to the RR Racing BBK (Wilwood Super Lite 6 piston front, Wilwood 4 piston rear), I ended up staying with the Wilwood BP20 for the rear and I have run Hawk HP+ and EBC Yellowstuff for the front and it has worked just fine. The reason for this choice was to minimize any issues with brake balance. The larger rotors and greater brake pistons have given me more than enough braking ability even with those less than ideal pads for the track. I've done a significant upgrade on power in the off season so we'll see if I need to upgrade the front pads this year.
