No, don't think so. They wanted him but were unsure if he would have been any good.. But the kid got some good coaching via his screen dad...

Dang maybe I'll check this one out. I liked something similar about Line of Duty. Well it's kind of a mild spoiler but a kid in the first season grows up and by the last season the same actor plays him as an adult.

Line of Duty is good but Happy Valley is brilliant. No spoilers, the same actors throughout with the exception of the ones that are killed..

Oh, series 3 is the last Happy Valley.. We are halfway through this series..

Looks like it's available on BritBox so we're good to go. MomHawk and I will likely stream it after the series is over. Thanks for the heads-up I would have never thought to look for it.

Sister and husband are watching "That 90's Show"
I ask them how it is.
"Meh, its a pass."

Go up today. They are still watching it.

Just started watching The Night Manager. Not sure how I like it yet but the premise is interesting enough.

My wife watched it all in a binge last weekend. They didn't even try to emulate the 90s like the 70s show did. It is just "That 70s Show" with people and places that look like it is 2022. Pretty sure that beyond the pilot episode they just used old screenplays from the old show. The only funny parts were seeing the characters from the 70s show how they look now. Donna sounds like she smoked 3 packs a day ever since the 70s show ended.
