TIL, after a not so fun weekend at the hospital with Mrs Mafia and her gallstones on how much it sucks to work in a Hospital. The crazy patients, the asshole family members, puke, blood all over the place, google doctors.
Granted some staff are better than others, and I don't know what battles they are fighting, but man, the things you see and hear.

Pain like I've never felt before, (and I've had five broken ribs, three more fractured, broken pelvis and multiple internal injuries). The diagnosis was Pancreatitis. Was back in for another three days just before Christmas, same pain. Doctor figured I'd passed a stone. They say I still have one more to go. It measured 1.5cm a month ago but hadn't moved out of the gallbladder. I see the doc for a follow up next week. |
