Watched the first episode of The Last of Us.

Okay, yeah, it doesn't perfectly mirror the game as far as characters go. But everything else is almost spot on. So far so good at sticking to the source material which I think hasn't happened in a long time as far as adaptations go.

I've been watching the original The Twilight Zone. It's interesting seeing all the politics and social constructs of the time woven into the stories. Some of them are very thought provoking, and some are very predictable from the opening. Still it's a very interesting take on the human condition.

Sad about the break for Yellowstone so discovered inside job on Netflix.

HR complaints. "Says 'suck my ****' a lot for a woman."

Inside job is pretty great. If that's your style, you might like Disenchantment.

I'd check it out if it wasn't anime season on Netflix. And I didn't have Jack Ryan to watch on prime. And other stuff... But one day!

Finished binging Line of Duty, really good show. The 2nd to last season was a little slower than I would've liked, and the last season's finale was a slight bit anti-climactic but the writing for it made sense. Apparently they're working on a 3 episode or so series finale this year, which I'm really hoping ties up one major loose-end.

Enjoyed this show because despite being a cop/crime drama, it was procedural and never felt like it had extra fluff or wasted time. Everything was pretty concise and relevant to the overarching story.

Highly recommend if you're into shows where being observant/paying attention to details pays off.

Loved Happy Valley. I'll second the recommendation.

EDIT: Dang, didn't realize they are doing a new series this year. I'll be honest, I am not a fan of the way British TV does their series. So hit or miss on when they show up.

New series is currently playing on the BBC, it's as good as the previous 2. Well worth the 8yr wait. They waited for little Ryan to grow up...
