Hmmm. Seems about on par with the 4080 but still a good amount behind the 4090. However, considering you need a larger case to even fit the 4090, vs potentially not needing to upgrade for the 7900 XTX, I'd say that is a sell for some; myself included.

Another main advantage of the 7 series is that more or less the same amount of money you get less energy consumption and probably less heat than NVIDIA. If FPS is that important, AMD FSS seems to be on par with DLSS or depending on the game, better than DLSS.
