I would have thought they or anyone who reviews cars for a living would do some research on their talking points. But it’s not the first or last time they will get it wrong.

Understandable. That said I had a 986 with 120,000 miles on it that lived outside. And I'd drive it to ski at the highest ski area in North America nearly weekly during half the year. It can be done. It just comes down to your priorities. Porsches have historically been some of the best built, most reliable cars made.
