Yep, is basically a, say, friendly threat to Checo. "Either you listen to us, or we have 2 drivers than can replace you". RIC will be a sort of ambassador, plus simulator testing from what I read. It has yet made official, but Helmut did speak about it on his recent interview. Can't seem to find the article as it came from the Microsoft Start tab on my home screen.

Good comeback race for The Ferrari’s. Was thinking the MERC guys would be the challengers to RB in this last one.

I hadn't heard any of the previous rumours. I just saw it pop up on a video the other day from a YT'er I actually trust to not be clickbaity who mostly just does videos on historical motorsports events.
