BTW dave it took me half the day to read your notes on the side and i knew your name sounded familiar. You had the graffiti itr right? Ive been around the honda game for awhile as well
With a clutch is fine IMO, I don't buy the flywheel showing all that much power, I've never seen that in my other cars.

Brad has the graffiti ITR, he is a friend of mine though. I am one of the old school we-todd-did-racing, DFH (decal free hondas), etc guys..

Yeah I was frustrated with Mike for a bit. Part of it comes from checking my phone and seeing 30 reported posts from the thread on both sides of the arguement We've tried to keep Vivid's history out of it on this site and I think we've done a good job there.

But yeah, sometimes the replies have made me a bit frustrated and I never understood the waiting on posting dynos. Josh has already been more open and transparent. I wish Mike the best with his future and I wish him the absolute best in his recovery, but I do hope Josh stays on instead. I just think Josh is more calm and open, which will lead to more mature conversations in the future in Vivid threads.

Ive been on here a whopping day and this is what i want to see to haha

I just dont know how many times i can run in circle because now it really has me wondering as well. The car has a wideband built in so its dumping fuel when you "bolt" something on which would make perfect sense why the header isnt performing where it needs to be. So ill do my best to pull some strings and get another dyno session done. I think the parts need to be added and driven on for a few ecu cycles then dynoed. not back to back because the ecu is probably freaking out.

I think the BIGGEST thing everyone is forgetting here is thanking EZWood for letting us flog on his car. I just spoke with Matt at AP (so many names im sorry) and they were here till 8pm driving the car trying to get it to learn the parts so they could make some good pulls the next morning.

kind of weird that the original car dynod didn't appear to have any of the learning issues, or if so i didn't see them reported. I wonder why they responded differently?

Their car didn't get the back to back runs my car did, and josh I don't think you guys did anything worse than what I do, Jason just happened to continuously do it for a good part of two days. Lol

Extremely impressed with the gain from your exhaust solution! Definitely going to buy... starting with the Cat Back Exhaust

I think you're right on.

I noticed the same thing originally, we threw some parts on, dyno'd and made power, and threw more on and the power went up for a couple runs then adjusted down. We re-tested after +400miles and the power was back up where we expected it. So there's some ECU garbage going on, and putting some miles on in between configs is a great idea imo.

thumbs up, good work. I'm still curious about that pulley run, +14whp with just a pulley is unheard of, but hopefully over time we will learn to understand what's going on. Great job today! So many questions answered.

Edit: dyno runs worked better when we fully defeated traction control, as well (not sport mode) by holding down the traction control button for like 5 seconds. Hope that helps

Dear vivid,

I am planning to drive this car year-round in Canada. Will these parts and their finish hold up?

Sincerely,

Stainless steel exhaust should hold up better than the stock exhaust I would think
