How bad did I screw up...?
Got a set of Enkei RPF1s coming in 17x9 et45 (can't get the et35s in the UK it seems) and have ordered some eagle f1 asy6 in 235/45. Have I screwed up...? I can't seem to find anyone else running this size.
I'm on tein coilovers running about a 1" drop. Any help would be amazing. The wheels haven't arrived yet so I still have a few days to send the tyres back and swap them for something else. |

It'll be fine. 245/40 would probably be ideal, as it's a very common size(may even be cheaper) but it'll fit without an issue. I run a 245/45 and did so on stock suspension with a 1" drop for a while.

Fitment Industries has a huge gallery and I did a quick search on your behalf. Here is your exact set-up (tires are different make and model but the same size) on a '14 86.
https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...mics-coilovers Ignoring platform, there are six pages of vehicles running a 17x9 +45 RPF1 in their gallery. This'll give you an idea of what different tire sizes look like on the x9. https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...l_width_from=9 Only thing to really consider when running a x9 RPF1 are the brakes. If you have Brembos and/or any aftermarket BBK, there is a high probability that you'll run into clearance issues as the backside of the x9 spokes don't have the same concavity as the x8. There is a sticky on this very forum that you might helpful - https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135328 |

You might have some rubbing in front, given the tire size I doubt it but 3mm spacer might be enough.

He's on coils, it will be fine. 17x9 +45 rpf1's are super common with 245's.
