Just replaced the too old Roombas with the "new" one they had on the site two weeks ago. The third is a Neato we've had for 12 years. It sounds like a jet engine when it's running but it just won't die, particularly after I replaced it's NiCads with Lion batteries. It's domain is the basement. The two others cover our main floor and the second floor. I had one of the new ones sitting on our large kitchen island pre-charging when we first got it. They are refurb units and apparently it still had a schedule in it. It dutifully informed me at work that it had completed its cleaning cycle of 15 minutes. Sure enough, I got home and activated it again. It roamed the island cleaning, didn't knock anything off, or fall off itself. It is almost a requirement if you have a Newfie, otherwise you are vacuuming every day. Now, if they would just invent one that does stairs!
