Q4 2022 5x114: What is everyone doing?
I'm stepping into an FRS soon and coming from the s chassis world, want to stay 5x114.
There are plenty of threads about HOW to convert to 5x114 from 2018. But in 2022... Megan racing no longer sells the 5x114 conversion hubs. PBM has discontinued the 5x114 conversion hubs as well. I believe T-Demand still sells the hubs, I've seen some locally used for over $1200 a pair. What is the popular way of upgrading your hub conversion in 2022?! I'd like to toss my SSR or VSKF on the car without much issue

i think most people have given up on it.
it was odd when the car came out, but now there's enough of a market that most aftermarket wheel/brake companies offer enough options to cover the majority of use-cases.

215/40/18 or 215/35/18 would be ideal I think for this smaller car Most of my wheels are in the very low to negative offset 9" wide front and 9.5 to 10" wide with +9 to +18 offset in the rear. Maybe I'll just get some custom 3 piece 5x100 wheels made? But I'd like to share wheels between both cars. |
