I don't see anything listed as to how many inch the pipings are? What kind of grade metal/steel are the exhaust components? Also, are those headers equal length or are they unequal length?

Just read that whole thread. I need 3 advil. Hopefully the numbers with out the pulley show up at some point. Does anyone know if the full system would be street legal? And I hope they have options on the burnt tips. Not feeling it.

Equal length, the rest I can't answer.

According to Vivid's website:

Wow I work in IT. I have to deal with people every day. But I must admit. You guys really give Vivid Racing all kinds of hell. People are way too hard to please.

As Dave pointed out, The only reason anything was brought up was the initial #''s didn't jive. Glaringly so.

When we brought that up we were called trolls, and said that we were just out to get Vivid.

Once the parts were dynoed again individually (the way it should have been from the start), the numbers started to mesh with what they should have been. However, there is still no exhaust sans pulley dyno, the main one we were looking for.

Never fear, my pulley just came in the mail, and if I can find a dyno to run it on in my area, I will test both before and after to see if there is any change. I will also have them run it in third and fourth to see if there is any benefit to running a lower gearing for dyno pulls on a lightened pulley.

Many of us asking for transparency are not "out to get" anyone. I have no past history with vivid, or anyone on this board. We however, do not want anyone to fall for BS, and want manufacturers to show a little transparency in their testing.

This is beneficial to everyone involved. It gets people interested in product development making them (even if they aren't) feel like they are a part of development; It gives the nerds the raw data they want to min/max their cars; It also keeps people updated on product progress.

Look at how well accelerated is doing on this board by following those basic rules.

He already provided a run with the pulley being the only mod ( http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...67&postcount=3 ). I'd definitely be interested in seeing if an independent third part can verify the claims though.

And like everyone else, my main request is a full exhaust/stock pulley run.

Sean,

Thank you. I'm sure everyone will settle down once that dyno pull is posted

While you are here, do you guys plan on changing the exhaust for customers if they want something a little different? A little quieter, or a little louder, etc? These are being made in house in AZ I believe so hopefully you guys can allow those customizations?

Hey Dave kind of have the whole Olympics theme going on over here and this forum is the 4x100 relay because the baton is in my hand now haha. Ill be keeping everyone updated here as best as possible and get all the pm's knocked out as well for those waiting.

Sean is the manager here and his info is above anybody needing any urgent assistance with an existing order or issue feel free to contact him. My contact info is below in my sig as well.

What did you have in mind as far as customization?
I was back there during the initial exhaust mock up and we went through a few different muffler/resonator designs as far as what fit/flowed/sounded best and this is where we landed. However im sure we can accommodate may the need arise.

For now ill run in the back and try and grab some charts and even see if that pull was in fact made.

Stay tuned

- Josh

Its a love hate relationship in a lot of cases, but the FR-S is a clean slate.

Knowing the parts are made here, knowing we have our own car, and knowing we have the ability to do our own trial and error fabrication should say a lot.

The scans are being uploaded now and hope it clears up a lot of confusion.
