No, warranty is still denied. I had to authorize 16hrs for the tear down. They only needed to do 4hrs worth.

Wait, you had to pay to have them teardown, *and* your warranty was denied? The teardown seems to be more for their data gathering than your benefit.

The tear down is simply to find a reason to deny warranty. Nothing more.

they can't tell what is wrong until they diagnose it, and one can't diagnose it until they pull it apart...

Toyota is saying the limiter was disabled (how?) and as a result I drove the car all the way to 129mph (also never happened per gamin)...
