First, what @soundman98 said. This is part of the insurance claim. I guess it would depend on how much water there really was, but my biggest concern is they dried out everything well including seats and carpet. Probably should be done by removing the interior.

Make sure the insurance company knows if they don't already.

I personally wouldn't think about anything. Some nice clean rain water is going to be a pain to get out but isn't going to cause you much issue. Sure stuff will be wet but that can be sucked out and dried up with no real lasting effects.
Now if it was dirty flood waters that got into all you connectors then that would be a different matter.

I would consider the base carpeting getting wet and in turn potentially causing mold growth underneath to be a "real lasting effect."

Who knows what problems could creep up and how long it will take them to surface. Then years down the line you'll have to prove it was due to the water and the company might no longer be in business.

I would attempt to get replacement price for the vehicle.

A one time soaking from some nice clean rain that doesn't sit for a long period is not an is not an issue.

Respectfully disagree. Any water saturation of the car's base carpeting is cause for concern and a source of potential mold growth.

Get a $15 can of basement dry and stick it on the passenger side floor. Any moisture left behind will be gone in three days.

i'd just make sure the insurance had it in their records. if there's no problem later, it's one line item in a record that gets buried. if it's a problem, it CYA enough that you shouldn't need to pay out of pocket for the issue that arises.
