Can't make this up.
We used to have it in MomHawk's Mustang. I would call every six months right before it expired, threaten to cancel, then get another 6 months for $5 a month. I did this for 5 years before she switched to Spotify and didn't use it any longer.

There is a whole discussion on this on a different forum. A salesdude posted a walkaround video of a Cadillac Lyriq that was available because the reservation holder couldn't get financing.

When asked in the comments if it was being sold for MSRP his response was no, it had a $20,000 ADM on it (a 33% increase). Then this was his justification:

Quote:
92% of the sales happened nationwide last month was charged over manufacturer’s suggested retail price. I know as a consumer it’s pretty annoying however this is the market. People can’t get watches, consoles, graphic cards, etc. Same chip shortage issue all over the world. If you’re in the market for a vehicle and if you have a trade you’d appreciate the value you’d get for your trade. Please do not post unrealistic comments. GM is well aware of what is going on because GM Financial funds most of these deals. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price was too high and we were giving discounts. Now its too low and we have to add Market Adjustment.

I'm not going to post the video because I don't want to help him get clicks but after two days of being abused for his "reasoning" he deleted his original message and all the comments, probably after his manager told him to clean up his act (it was the salesman's channel and not the dealerships). Unfortunately for him his comment is captured forever on the forum.

I needed to cancel it at two places, my home (we've cut that cord) and my in-law's house which I was paying for as well to help them out (I've cut their cord). We now get the same channels (at least those we watch) for less than 1/3rd the price of Dish.
On a side note... don't ever say that to a company that can extend you credit or collect from you. When it comes time to collect Social Security, there is a better chance than not that comment will haunt you. (Sorry sir, it says here you've been dead since 2008).

About six weeks ago I learned about LexisNexis opt out service. I signed up and about 3 days later all of my robo calls stopped on both home and cell. If you don't know about LexisNexis they know about you.

Because north magnets point to it. Don't get me started on "positive to negative flow" of electricity...
