I had a titanium plate in my forearm. I was really disappointed when it failed to trigger airport security screening.

That's surprising. I would have thought they would have come down hard for being part of the Schutzstaffel.

Member how uncle Sam brought my happy @ss back to the Army? Well, some shenanigans happened.
I had to attend, as part of our yearly duties while "active", a physical exam. All good and great because I was done early and got to relax at home, on a Friday, which means I missed a day worth of work. No biggie, my company will pay me the difference because they know the Army pays its lower enlisted less than a McDonalds worker. Anyways, comes time to print out my pay stub so I can give it to HR. $0.00 on my pay stub. Weird, 3 other pay stubs generated at the same time, all are also $0.00. I start making phone calls. All this was from that August 12th duty day. Phone call is made, have a talk with my unit, told to wait a week, and I do. One week goes by, to this week. First LES (Paystub) $0.00. Second $96 before taxes. $26 in my pocket after taxes. Oh, and because the Army in its infinite wisdom, or the CT National Guard I should say, wasn't petty enough, it decided to fck me even more by never cancelling my insurance, so I kept racking up a debt, without even knowing about it, no one ever said anything on my debrief. So not only do I only get paid $26 for about 7 hours worth of my time, I also owe the Army about $200. On the bright-side, I'll get my money back from my company, and I'll be, after all is said and done, about $18-20 richer.

Saw this rolling on the street (not the wide body). I must say, it looked nice for made in late 80's. It would be fun project car...
