With the GR86's emergent sealant problems I am starting to think Z again. A GR Corolla might also fill the bill but it will be 2 years to get one here at this point according to the sales manager at a big metro dealer. I have a national reservation in for the Z so that should show up this fall.

Saw my first Z northbound on I-75 in FL coming home. IMO, it's one of those cars that look a lot better in person. It could also be the color too, which was black.

I love the new Z.... Its in my "5yr garage plan," Just after replacing my 2023 BRZ (which I don't have yet) with a GR Corolla. That would be my perfect Winter/Summer Duo...

Yeah, slower than the GR86. Barely beat the Acura TLX. That can’t look good for Nissan. I think they went with a Miata mentality on soft suspension, touring compliance, but more for comfort since the car doesn’t have adjustable active dampers like the Mustang or Supra. I agree with them that probably the car could be sorted out with aftermarket suspension.

Now, their track is fairly tight, which favors precision and light weight, which is probably also why the Camaro ZL1 1LE only bested the Camaro SS 1LE on Cup2s by a half second. Probably also why the Golf R was four seconds slower than the CTR.
