Reminds me of a back-in-day Army story. It was a hot, humid day at Fort Benning, GA when us IOBC (Infantry Officer Basic Course) students were herded into a barbed wire compound in the middle of a swamp. After a couple days of "POW torture" about a dozen students grabbed up a log (that was used to make us kneel on during our torture) and headed for the gate.

All was going well till the cadre drug down the first few soldiers off the log and the breakout attempt collapsed. Yep, we were all tortured longer for that attempt. Yep, eating raw rabbit and under cooked rice ...... but, I've already told that story -

Today's homeowner project? Fitting an 18" dishwasher in a 15" cabinet space.

And clearing out the sink cabinet for the plumbing, looks like my sink drains need to be entirely replumbed

So, I went to the other Chinese restaurant in Caldwell. First page of their menu was "American classics" . Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and if course, finger steaks.

One thing I'd like to know is what is Spanish Chow Mein?

I ordered a quart of wor wonton to go. Chicken broth, frozen wonton, and 3 quarter sized shrimp.
