Scary times.. I suppose the flip side is that you'll have involuntary vegetarians.. BTW, ticks only exist on your neighbour's plot?

I don't understand the question lol. No, I can certainly acquire ticks as well? My strategy is just to avoid the woods except for in winter and early spring.

If I may, the only question I read was if ticks exist only on our side of the pond. As far as involuntary vegetarian, 4.97/10.00

Evidently I enjoy finding the fire truck honking out front was for an Amazon delivery truck double parked... And the driver evidently still inside so they got an earful. Not that over the line joke of misappropriated meaning, but two cars wide parallel parked on our street.
Neighbor's HVAC blew something and filled the house with nasty fumes, but no fire thankfully. I can touch their roof from our side windows and we were preparing to vacate in case it turned out to be needed.

^This (plus a generous coating of repellent)

Although, still not foolproof. My sister-in-law got lyme disease while birding, in Northern Michigan, in late winter. Despite snow on the ground, the sun on the undergrowth was warm enough for ticks to be active. It's been something like 8 years and she still has symptoms.
