Here's a few photos showing the current state of the car. I've just determined that my rear hub bearings are done, so those are on order. I need to get the oil lines made up to connect the 3QT Accusump and then head off to Delicious Tuning to get it dyno tuned. Hoping to be back out racing early next year.

The display images are of the new Android deck and the Raspberry Pi that are going to be part of my failsafe standalone system that I'll be implementing. It should be able to monitor external sensor inputs as well as CANBUS values and issue limp mode commands to the ECU if anything is in dangerous territory.

Are you still on the stock auto?
Also
Im thinking about getting a similar built engine from blue moon. How much did that cost?

Still on stock transmission(s), 3rd one now, all of the replacements have been used from LKQ.

If you are interested in working with Bluemoon, give them a call and discuss your goals. Cost will depend on what you want in a built motor.

Recently installed the new Nameless Ultra Quiet Track Pipe (https://shop.namelessperformance.com...et-track-pipe/). It makes beautiful sounds.

Back to street legal mode for now after swapping in a stock powertrain and getting the J02 recall completed. Fresh front and rear bumpers, new-ish wheels and tires. Super stoaked to be able to daily drive this thing again and not have it be a garage queen.

Nice Bob,
It’s gone a full circle and here it is back on the street.
Enjoy. I miss having lunch and driving with you bud!

Thanks Moto.

We should go drive and get a bite to eat after the summer heat subsides.

After a nearly 3 year hiatus of daily driving this car, even with a stock powertrain (and lots of suspension goodies/used AO52s) it is a riot to drive.

I had added a few Cusco chassis braces(steering rack, trailing arm to subframe, diff brace, and rear subframe mount brace), as well as the MCA traction mod + Karcepts front sway.

Also put the Cusco 4.556 FD back in after having it WPC'd.

Car takes a nice set in turns, and on accel there's tons of grip. So much fun.

The mechanical grip with the MCA traction mods, AO52s, and everything else that was on the car previously is crazy. A slight lift, turn in, and on throttle mid turn through exit brings a smile to my face every time. The car seems to hunker down and grab the ground.
