Well I haven't seen other dealers yearly allocation plans, but I would guess its NOT 12 units which would average them one allocation a month

No the dealer name is in the first line of each entry - e.g. "Boulevard Toyota".

So you think 12 is too conservative or aggressive? Even though that dealer is doing the right thing (not take my deposit until they get the vin), I am not confident in taking all their words at face value

I was told by my dealer only 500 units of GR86 will be made in 2023? Not sure if it is ture.

No way! That’s too few. I really hope they don’t do that. If 500 unit stuff is true, then one dealer will expect to have less than two allocations on average in 2023. Like seeing Rustyoid’s post, I’ve seen some dealers had got multiple stock allocations for the first model year. Plus, there were allocations linked to customers which Rustyoid couldn’t see thru the system

500 GR corollas sounds much more reasonable.

Although it seems low it would not be horribly out of line in the expected conditions for the next year.
Keep in mind that Canada never brought in anything even close to the tens of thousands of units the US got. Even when the FRS was new, fresh and flying off the lots there were only 3,200 of them. Would not be surprised at all if Toyota felt that 500 units would meet demand in today's market.

I am not sure about the GR86 but i have heard from a few sources, one of which is fairly accurate/reliable, that there will only be about 500 units of the new CTR made for the Canadian market over 3 production years. If the GR86 numbers are true, that is another blow to the enthusiasts.
