We probably aren't going to get another booster of the current batch. Hopefully someone figures out how to counter omicron in the near future, or we might wind up with more lockdowns.

i really think we're headed that way once flu season starts again.
though i don't believe the american political climate will accept another round of lockdowns. so it'll be an interesting time...

From what I read and hear, an omicron specific booster is in the pipeline. An early fall release date seems probable. (Fingers crossed)

I know a bunch of people that have recently got it lately. Seems to be making the rounds though most have extremely mild symptoms. Many have none at all.

We need another lockdown. It's for the best.

Ones guys wife tested positive, she’s a PA, so he tested. The other one had to take a test before medical procedure and came up positive.

When you spend 2 years screaming about how bad some measure is, it's real hard to turn around and call out people in charge for not doing it when it starts to make sense again. We're now doing it the other way. Ironic isn't it.

They started chaptering some lower ranking soldiers who refused to get vaxxed as a 'warning' in my Brigade. It was quite funny to hear them talk about their 'freedom' during PT. I just responded with, 'Army' and walked away.

Freedom in the Army? I’d always heard what a hotbed of hyper individualism the Army is. “Join the Army, and Make Your Own Decisions” was a powerful recruiting slogan in the early 70s.

Lol remember, this is 2022's Army. Kids can't get smoked, they can't be pushed, and will question every fucking thing you ask them. They will throw EO complaints left and right just for giving a simple order. So yeah, they think they have a choice about shit because so much has been laxed. Yet in the end, they signed a contract voluntarily and are at the needs of the Army. Though most who are being chaptered are lower NCOs (Corporals-E6). The ones that are having a harder time being booted out are like Sergeant Majors who basically need Congress to fire them.
