Still heavy as fuck. And the handle on the other end is on the ground, so you can't just reach down and pick it up. You have to lift it from the side to get your hand under the handle. Someone really wasn't thinking in the design department.

*sigh* It has wheels.

It is a textbook unfinished product. I think the manufacturer held fast to a price point and cut corners.

Yup, but too niche of a market for any real competition. ...I think.

Probably wouldn't be too technically difficult to make something better, if you could navigate what is sure to be patent hell.

Patents aside, it would be an interesting challenge to improve on the concept and keep it reasonably priced. It's tough to do better than a floor jack and stands.

Hey if some of you are unhappy with your quickjack, I will GLADLY volunteer to relieve you of that burden, and take it off your hands. Just sayin'....

TIL That is it a tad creepy when your wife goes into the Subaru dealer to get her car coated and the service manager sends her a picture of your Toyota from before it was yours!

Nah, this is classic "designed by engineers" design. I honestly think the intent is to leave them on the floor and shove them together in the middle under the car when not in use. Pull them out when needed.

I never lift mine - use the wheels or just drag that shit along the floor. I can't leave them down since I have to use them about 2' over from where I park (since I leave no space between the car and the kayaks).

They are! Every time I lift one, I worry seriously about dropping it on my foot.

That makes sense. Mine lean against the garage wall so I don't have to lift them twice. By 'lifting,' I mean lifting one end to roll it.
