I loved driving my Europa. Very comfortable for long trips. Cruise wasn't a thing back then so I didn't miss it. However, it would get very hot inside with such little air flow coming in past the rad.

I used to coordinate forum sponsored event aka 86EXPO. First one was at Las Vegas. Second one was at Virginia. Last one was at West Virginia. I kinda wanted to do it again, but due to lack of staff & time, kinda gave up.

It was a 2 days event. 1 day for cruise or autox. 2nd day for car show. It was a lot of fun!

Just search 86EXPO in fb and some photos from the events and etc will come up.

At the point when you've owned a car you bought new that is now older than the youngest drivers at the meet you are at least an old coot to them.

Actually, just knowing the phrase "old coot" probably qualifies you as one.
