I don't think Mrs Mafia would appreciate me leaving her home alone, to drive to NC, by myself, for her yearly family gathering....

I have also always found the twins to be comfortable on road trips. I used to drive from Salem, OR to a place east of Sacramento every 4-6 weeks for practice, it was about 9 1/2 hours each way.

Sure, 1963 miles for me. I'll need to pack lots of sammys to do that in one run.

"The Geographic Center of the Contiguous United States is located about two miles northwest of Lebanon, Kansas. A small stone pyramid marks the point measured by a survey performed in 1918"

Humfrz probably remembers when the survey was done.

Basically anyone who is in the mid states. Anyone who lives in the coasts, better pack a few sandwiches.

WE would be there.

Mrs. Ultra an I both agree that the Twin is by far the most comfortable long distance driver ever. Of course now she's emotionally invested in her C300 because she always wanted a Benzo. It's nice but it's no Twin.

Ultra, I thought you live further West than me? Even from my place, it take 12hrs and change... which is a lot shorter than expected.

Doesn't matter. We'd meet up and go. I'd do it.

It would be a pretty miserable drive in my car as it is now but I would go. Drive up north to meet you. Head out east on 84 to ID and pickup Ho, down to SLC for Ichi. Who else is on the way?
