Watching TDF right now. See more people with bikes this week every year, then they disappear again.

I'm off to fly kites today instead. If there's any wind. Been mostly dead calm at the ocean this week.

Craigslist in Oct. is the place for bikes after the glamour and perineum wears off.
My neighbors bought four suspension bikes for peanuts at the Rotary Auction a couple years ago.

Much easier to wrench on than the twins but the turbo mod can be problematic.

I was reminded of hand written signs I see on some closed shop doors: "Back in 10 minutes". It is totally meaningless. I much appreciate the notice that says the time at which the shop will re-open.

We were at the beach last week, west coast of Florida near Tampa. During the week I saw the usual number of persons riding bikes, maybe a dozen or more a day. the difference this year is not a single one of them were peddling.

They were all on electric bikes.

Friendly reminder that today is Amazon Prime Day. Lots of goodies, especially in the electronics/car wash side.

Random Thoughts - Part III The Search for Spark (No Politics)

My cousin should not be allowed near tools. He was installing this bumper on his SXS and messed up the threads. Tried to tap the threads, broke the tap. Tried to drill out the tap, broke the drill bit. Tried to use a punch to knock it all out, broke the punch

It's not over yet. Hide the torch.
