It just didn't do it for me. I found it.....boring. I didn't like the world, the weapons didn't have the variety of Borderlands. Supposedly the story is good but I wasn't paying any attention to the story. I was just treating it as a FPS and nope.

I had this problem. My psu was calculated for all the components of my pc plus some headroom but my pc would randomly shut down. PC shop fitted higher capacity psu, problem solved.

I recently had to switch my PSU from 750W, which is what is recommended for all my components. To 1000W because things where getting kind of hot. Plus I was suffering some performance issues with the GPU.

3 hours into GRID Legends. Its...fun. Graphics are top notch, gotta thank Codemasters for that, wouldn't expect anything less from the creators of newer F1 games.



Im on the highest difficulty, presumably, but its still easy. Cars tend to over steer but miraculously fixes itself the more throttle you use. Very arcade-y driving style. But is good fun if you ever get bored of GT7 or AC.



The AI uses this "nemesis" system. Means that if you're constantly bumping vehicles with other drivers, they will remember and bump you back, block, or send their teammate after you.



Story is kind of cheesy, kind of like living a Drive to Survive on a game.



You don't necessarily have to buy vehicles, all off your savings go into developing team/driver/mechanic skills. Cars are provided to you by your team, all of them are a sort of GR4/GR3 class vehicles.
The story mode is a combination of races; can be a street circuit or race circuit, dirt, snow, rain, with different vehicles each time, can be trucks, gr3 style, gr4, Nascar type. So that keeps things interesting. Trucks are the hardest because they have a sort of Baja Rally suspension, so driving on tarmac becomes a balancing act.





I wouldn't say I would've paid for it. Good thing it was free, and Im probably never going to play it again once I fully complete it. Its good-dumb-filthy casual fun.

NVIDIA reportedly has started reducing the prices for their 3000 series GPUs from $100-500.


This would be a good time to start thinking about upgrading any older GPUs, if you're interested. Getting a 3060ti, or even a 3080, would set you up for a long time, until you have to upgrade to a more power hungry, and complete computer overhaul in order to make the most of it.
