(the difference is) Not dramatic as far as fun, but with half the power to weight ratio you can imagine that I sometimes say "come on baby" and I don't have the ability to drift almost at will.
Still, I have done a modest amount of work to the car's suspension and I think it handles as well as my high-strung beast that has about everything done to it that can be done.
I've driven and raced many cars and except for two FWD cars, all prior to the STI were RWD. The BRZ is a blast, especially relative to my initial investment!
I'd say that for 90% of weekend warriors and track addicts that the car should prove very satisfying. Of course, I want more power!

If there’s a third gen there may be a case for a hybrid system a la NSX since it won’t come out until >2030, temporarily delivering that kind of power might be the norm for an ‘affordable’ car by then.

This will probably be me someday although I'm not boosted. However I think I will know what happened and would have better sense than to post it on the forum.
